Terms

The licence agreement that comes with Combo's Tweaks (EULA.txt), word for word.

In short: results vary, and no plan guarantees more FPS or a lower ping. Every tweak can be undone, whatever your plan. Plus and Premium are one-time purchases for your own PCs.

1. Plans

There are three: Free, Plus and Premium. Free costs nothing and may be used on any number of PCs. Plus and Premium are a one-time payment in Australian dollars (AUD), with no subscription (checkout may show the price in your own currency). A Plus owner can move to Premium by paying the difference. Plus and Premium are sold through Link, by Stripe: Link takes your payment and sends your receipt, under the terms shown at checkout.

2. How long it lasts

A Plus or Premium licence lasts for the life of the major version you buy: you get every update of it (for example, all of 1.x) at no extra cost. A new major version (for example 2.0) may be sold separately; the version you have keeps working. An update may retire a tweak: a retired tweak can't be turned on again, but one you turned on stays on and can still be undone.

3. Who may use it

A licence is for one person, on their own PCs. Please don't share your key or sell it on.

4. No guaranteed gains

Results vary from PC to PC and from game to game. No plan guarantees more FPS, a lower ping or any other improvement.

5. Undo always works

Before each change the app saves the original value, and it tries to create a Windows restore point before your first change (if Windows can't, it asks you first). Undo and Undo everything work in every plan, even if your licence ends. A tweak you applied stays applied until you undo it: nothing is undone for you. Cleaning files and repairs can't be undone; the app tells you before they run.

6. What the app does

It changes only the Windows settings and files described on each card. It never edits game files and never interacts with anti-cheat software. You use it at your own risk.

7. Privacy

The app makes no network connections on its own. It uses the network only for what you start: the ping, DNS speed and bufferbloat tests, the DNS check right after you change DNS, Network Repair, official downloads on the Resources page, and Ask Combo AI (section 8). Links such as Buy open in your browser. Licence keys are checked on your PC, offline. No telemetry and no accounts. Nothing is uploaded except what Ask Combo AI shows you before it sends it.

8. Ask Combo AI

Every plan includes Ask Combo AI, which answers questions about your PC's performance: 1 question a day in Free, 3 in Plus and 6 in Premium. Nothing is sent until you agree to the screen that shows what a question sends: the question and the earlier messages of the same conversation; if you allow it, a short summary of your PC's hardware (Windows version, processor, graphics card, memory, how it connects to the internet; no names, files or addresses); the app's version; and, so the server can count your questions, your licence key (Plus and Premium; it holds a licence number, not your email) or, in Free, a random install ID the app makes (nothing about you or your PC). It goes to Combo's Tweaks' own server, which answers with Cloudflare Workers AI (Built with Llama) and keeps no record of questions. Like any website, the server sees the internet address a question comes from: it counts free questions per address by a salted hash of it, never the address itself, and deletes the counts after two days. Answers come from an AI model and can be wrong: they are suggestions, not instructions. Check a tweak's details before you turn it on, and keep a restore point. The app never changes anything because of an answer. Free questions have their own daily share, so Plus and Premium are still answered when it runs out; any plan's questions can stop early for the day if the service's free daily allowance runs out, and the service may change or stop.

9. Refunds

You get the refunds and other remedies the Australian Consumer Law requires, for example if the app has a major failure. Email support with your licence ID, or ask Link support (support.link.com), which sold you the licence and sent your receipt.

10. Warranty

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law can't be excluded. Apart from those, the app is provided "as is", and to the extent the law allows, the author isn't liable for damage or data loss arising from its use.
